Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned (3-5 minutes). Remove beef from the wok.
  2. In the same wok, sauté onion until softened (3-4 minutes). Add garlic and ginger; cook for another minute. Stir in red bell pepper and broccoli; stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar in a small bowl. Return beef to the wok and pour sauce over everything; stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with optional sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
