  • 1.5 quarts Cookies and Cream ice cream, softened
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Additional chopped Oreo cookies, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans with cooking spray or butter; dust lightly with flour.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in the cake flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add whole milk until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped Oreo cookies.
  5. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling for 10 minutes in pans before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. Layer one cake on a serving plate, spread softened ice cream on top, then place the second layer on top. Frost with whipped cream and garnish with additional chopped Oreo cookies.
