Ingredients
- 4 cups no sugar added apple juice
- 1/2 cup red hot candies
- 1 package fruit pectin
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
Instructions
- In a large pot, mix together the apple juice, red hot candies, and pectin. Stir until well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a full boil over high heat while stirring continuously.
- Once boiling, add sugar and return to a full boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam from the top.
- Pour the hot jelly into prepared jars, leaving about 1/4 inch headspace at the top. Clean jar rims before sealing.
- Process jars in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes, then allow them to cool completely before storing.
